Through my research about my client and the purpose of recycling, a keyword pops up frequently. LIFE. MPSJ emphasizes the life of its residents and the council also focuses on leading its town into a sustainable city. Recycling is also a cycle of life for the recyclables turning something unremarkable into something unexpected with endless possibilities. When come to think about it, the purpose of recycling is actually to improve the environment and bringing it back to how it used to be. “ Making the Past our Future “. This is a tagline that can summarize all the statements above. As the earth is slowly dying. All we want is just simply fresh and clean air like how it used to be. Hence Making our future to how it used to be. Similar to this concept, there’s a plant that can interpret it which is selaginella lepidophylla a.k.a Resurrection Plant. The interesting fact about this plant is even after it died down for a long time, with a little bit of hydration it can regain its past glory. Therefore as the earth is slowly dying ( the dead plant ), by executing 3R ( little hydration to the plant ), the earth could regain its past glory ( the plant regrow ).
